As a team of five, we proposed and prototyped Intellipill: a smart pill management system that ensures the health of the elderly population via an Android app synced with an IoT pill rack. The app allows caretakers and family members to remotely monitor their elderly relatives by adding new pills and a schedule. At the scheduled time, the IoT pill rack lights up the specific pill bottle via RGB LEDs and makes a buzzing sound until the pill is taken, updating the app and thus remedying medical errors from prescriptions.
