In Spring 2016, I came across the opensource JavaScript library cylonJS. I thought it was very interesting to apply my web development knowledge to robotics so I did a small project to learn more about the framework!

I did the hand gestured control bot in both Javascript and Arduino to learn how each platform differs from each other!
In March 2016, I had an opportunity to attend the O’Reilly Fluent Conference, an awesome gathering of web developers and new web technologies. I signed up for a lightning talk to share my experience with cylonJS: a framework for opensource robotics and IoT. I was able to deliver the talk in front of a big group of industry professionals (I did stutter a bit but it felt awesome to talk about something I love).
